Lemon's 2nd Birthday Wish List
Here are some items I thought Lemon might want for her 2nd birthday on July 2nd. Toddlers are all over the place and she mostly just toddles around from one thing to the next, around the house, so I think she's bored of almost all of the toys we have here. Books and movies are her favorite but she is loving her Calico Critters more and more and I think she needs some toys that make her MOVE, aside from just us pushing her in her trike. She loves being outside and I think would enjoy more freedom of a scooter or pedal-less bike.

Wow that dollhouse is so expensive! And the supermarket! But they are so darn cute. Last year my daughter was 2 and outside loved her water table, sprinklers, barbie skooter (she cuoldn't quite grasp the pedaling yet), chalk of course. She loooves her little Frozen figurines from the Disney store too!
ReplyDeleteMine loves figures too, not so much dolls just figures. She LOVES water stuff outside too, we have a water table also but she'd rather just play with the hose! Ha
DeleteDefinitely go for the Bubble Guppie bus! I babysit a 19 month old and he has a school bus that he loves to push around the house and outside and load the people on and off. It can keep him busy for quite a while! Plus how can you go wrong with Bubble Guppies??
ReplyDeleteYay! True! I gotta get it now, thanks!
DeleteI found this birthday hard. We got a classic trike for our daughter but it's winter in Australia so we haven't had the chance to let her ride it outside. She loves the easel we got her but more for the chalk board than anything else. Then she got a lot of Minnie mouse themed things (beyond obsessed). My mum (grandma) got her a kitchen with a heap of accessories and that was by far the winner, we get dinner (fake sausages and eggs) cooked for us all the time. A friend of mine for her son the balance bike and he doesn't want a bar of it. I think they are a bit young for a balance bike at 2 but I don't mind the kids scooters.
ReplyDeleteLoving all the DVD and book selections though. We have just transitioned in to a big bed so reading in bed with mummy has become her favourite time of the day.
Ugh we can never have enough books, we have so many I am out of shelf space for them! Movies are always a win and we have a little kitchen too that Lemon wants no part of. This age is tricky, I feel like Lemon would rather be outside playing or going somewhere than playing with any of her toys!
DeleteDefinitely go for a balance bike!
ReplyDeleteI gotta try it out with her!
DeleteYou MUST get her a balance bike. She will love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks!!
